I have a fantastic 92 240 wagon. It runs like a top most of the time. But then will suddenly die. It will restart after a few minutes run for a while then quit again. The same process repeats again. I'm worried that it won't restart. Any ideas what's going on?

 

could be almost anything. my daughter's erratic stalls/nostarts turned out to be fuel pump related. erratic problems are the hardest kind to troubleshoot.

 

I had similar issue but eventually mine quit starting all together, or would start and run for 5 minutes.

Mine was fuel pump related too.

Oddly enough, when I pulled the fuel pump fuse like and started it up to help relieve the pressure and later put the fuse back in it started right up and ran fine (longer than the usual 5 min).

Changed the internal fuel pump, never had a problem again.

I agree with Pierce though, could be almost anything.. I'm a novice, lots of trial and error for me.
