I have a 1994 Volvo 940 base with Rex Regina and I need the three valve stems from the lower passengers side of the ac condenser. I put a new ac condenser in and they come with a European sized valve stem not the U.S. Size. Wel at least that's what Nissens told me. Ac works great but the switches don't go on far enough to depress the schraeder valve so they 1) won't control the fans and 2) the high pressure cut out won't shut the ac compressor off. Tried drilling out the old low speed fan switch to fit but the o-rings don't deal properly. I can only run the ac on the highway. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you sure you ordered the correct ac condenser? It seems old that the valve stems are not correct. My next question, are these valve stems removable? Did you keep the old ac condenser?

 

Thanks for the response. The Problem has been resolved. Found a 960 in the junk yard and pulled them out and they are the correct ones.
