Has anyone ever sucessfully loosened the 15/16" bolt on the pan of one of the AW71 Automatics (used with any B230 engine)

I read I spec that it was in with about 100Nm of torque.. and sadly.. I'm working on the ground with no lift.. Removing the starter just seems like a rash..

Any ideas?

 

Are you talking about the Trans Dipstick tube?

If so they don't like to come out easy. But you can get the starter out without removing it.
