There is no light when i use the parking / headlight switch during the nights. May be the small bulb in the dash is gone. Anyone who could help me as how to open the switch and replace the fused bulb

 

On my '94, it's a separate bulb above the switch. Access it under & behind the dash, it just pulls out.

It's a special Volvo lamp near as I can tell, soldered-in to it's holder etc. I bought another one from the dealer, but it was pricey.

For the amount Volvo gets for it, it should play the Swedish National Anthem and blink in tune with the notes!!!!


There are three of those bulbs in the dash BTW, one for the headlamp switch, plus one each for the row of icons on each side of the steering column. If money is an issue you could swap them around.
