940 locking problems

Exclamation 940 locking problems

I have a 1992 940 GL, the problem is, i just changed the trunk lock(key didn't work) so it work a lil, then the lock hinge came off(from the cylender to the latch). My central locking system doesn't work. now I need help with gettin in.Plz help...

Could you elaborate? I'm not certain if you want to know how to get into a locked trunk to repair it or if you want advice on actually repairing it once open.

I need help gettin it open. Another web site side, take off the back seat and climb through, but it all metal, and I cant fit though the sky hole. plz help...

Hire a midget or a real skinny assistant.

I would drill out the cylinder and then attempt to actuate the linkage manually.

It's simple to open...takes some time...but the process is simple. Using the rear seat ski hole is indeed what you use. BUT you need a ratchet with LOTS of extensions to reach the lock bolts. I think they are 10mm. Midgets are good...but quite expensive.
