Default 940 Solenoid Tap Under Hood?

On 240's there was a solenoid tap under the hood, drivers side at fire wall. Very handy for compression checks, etc. Is there similar access on a 940? I found a blue female spade connector near the battery but it seems to be hot even when ignition is off. The wire from that blue connector is orange & the solenoid wire is green so what is that blue spade access for? TD

my 1992 740/940 greenbook says the wire is PINK, as is the starter circuit from pin 50 of the ignition switch. its blue-green after the connector for the park/neutral safety switch, and at the starter solenoid pin 50 input. this blue shell connector should be near the left fender.

Thanks Pierce. Found it. Works like a charm, another good idea from Volvo.

This is still related to the vibration issue. I did tire rotation & shocks and new pads & rotors but transmission shop says to rule out a high speed engine miss in conjunction with a soft motor mount before taking drive line back to driveline shop. One cylinder was only @ 80 psi, others @ 105. Cap & rotor are new so will do plugs & wires, but still seems unlikely to me that it's anything other than a driveline issue.

Thinking I might rebuild the engine before next summer since it's at 202K but I've got to solve this issue first. Just "getting newer part by part". TD
