Another Newbie!!!
Hello! Just joined the fourm. I own a 1990 740 Turbo wagon with the electric overdrive manual 5 speed. I've owned the car for over 4 years now. I bought it from the original owner who was meticulous in its upkeep. Even with almost 200k miles it is in incredible orginal condition!!! I'm proud of the fact that it was used this year in a commercial for a grocery store called Food Lion for the Coca Cola 600 race here in Charlotte. After several years of faithful service I have decided to spice her up a bit. I just had the windows tinted and added a Pioneer head unit with XM radio. I also replaced all the speakers and added a couple 10" subs and an amp. At least that make may trip to work more fun.
My next modifications are going to be a full IPD suspension including lowering springs, cam swap and euro side marker lamps just to name a few. Looking forward to being here!

I wish my car's previous owner had been meticulous in its upkeeps, when I got it was running on two cylinders 'cause the plugs were fouled up and one of the leads was broken in two. The tinted windows look great, too bad around here tinting the front door windows and windshield is illegal. Though because of that I've never driven a car with a tinted windshield, and I think my eyesight's bad enough already. Those 700-series look good lowered (I've always thought that 200-series look good jacked up) hope the suspension mods go well.
I'm new too. But welcome!!! I have an '87 240 with 325,000 miles I've owned for 15 years and a '92 940 with 290,000 I've owned for 4 years, both have been great cars--you can't kill them.
I live near Charlotte myself.

SOme are here to look up schematics, help with their car and some are regulars looking to chat and also help... I know I have been swamped with life, so haven't had much time on but that has changed. The forum is a good place full of good people looking to help others in our love of the same car!
