Hi,

240 wagon 1987 with four speed o/d gearbox.

The trans is getting noisy and it goes like a slug!

What is involved in fitting a earlier 4 speed?
I have done this on a earlier 245 , but they have the steering firewall plate already with the clutch master cylinder mount.

Does the earlier 245 flywheel work with later solonoid injection?
How long to change the plate, or use cable operated clutch ?

Any clues??
