Bad ECU?
I got new question to ask.
I'm checking Idle Air Control solenoid valve.
It stay open all the time while motor running with high RPM or idling.
So i checked voltages at IAC connector.
I'm getting 12 voltages at the IAC connector all the time even removed TPS connector.
I think it should cut voltage off at the IAC connector when I removed TPS connector.
But I'm still getting 12 voltages at the IAC.
Now I'm thinking toward to bad ECU.
Is this possible bad ECU make IAC open all the time.
Before I go to there I want to know is there anything ele to check.
What do you think?
Thanks.

http://www.brickboard.com/FAQ/700-90...ltyIAC_or_Hall
I know nothing about 940's, other than they had nicer seats then my 240. The way my IAC works is it has three wires, the center wire is 12V, ground one of the outside wires and the "flapper" turns one way, ground the other outside wire and the flapper turns the opposite direction.
I would start by checking the resistance of the windings as stated in the FAQ.

Thanks for the replies.
Weird, my 940 IAC connector has only two wires.
my problem is getting 12 voltages all the time to makes IAC open all the time.
I checked TPS and IAC itself both of them checked out good.

My *guess* is a two wire IAC is used only on the Regina system.
