Default Brake failure 84 240 DL

I just bought a84 240 DL when pulling into my drive way I had absolutley no brakes. I could push the pedal all the way to the floor. I have all the service records from the prevous owner. The car has exactly 150,000 miles and did sit for a while until I drove it and I did drive it on the HWY. Can any one tell me what may have caused this?
Thanks,
Wes
It sat for about 5 months. The brakes worked fine until I got neighborhood & Drive way. I checked for leaks and nothing is leaking. the resovoir (sp?)is also full and the correct color.

How long did the car sit for? I'm gonna say either failed caliper/master cylinder seals or a blown flexible line. Top up your fluid, have someone push the pedal and look for leaks/sprays (wear safety glasses, you don't want that stuff in your eyes under pressure).

The calipar had locked causing the brake fluid to boil.

if you have someone push down the pedal while the cap is off air will get into your system and thats never good. Did you check to see if your brake booster is working?

Having the same problem as jclight; I have a little direction from swift here. New rear left caliper and it'll bleed just fine with the screw open but there's no pressure buildup if I pump the brakes and then open the screw w/ the pedal depressed to the floor.

I have found no leaks with the 'look for fluid spraying out' method.
