Default Brake Proportioning Valve Assembly

I cannot seem to find this part for sale anywhere. My 18-year-old wanted this 1987 240 DL wagon bought new by a friend's family. I must stop the fluid flood. Any ideas? THANKS !

You might want to try FCP Groton. Here's the link to the part - http://www.fcpgroton.com/product-exe...category_id/61 I almost bought one a few months back but my mechanic removed it, cleaned it and resealed it. Before this, my brake pedal would almost go to the floor in order for my 89 240 to stop.

If you mean the proportioning valve by the rear axle, best bet is a junkyard. They rarely go bad since it's basically a reducer valve with no moving parts.

You are talking about the brake safety valve that is fond of leaking. After trying numerous fixes I finally hit upon one that works. Teflon tape. Low cost, low tech and completely effective. Costs about $1
