Default Brakes

So im doing some minor upgrades, refurb details to my car, and I need to replace the brakes bad. I saw on IPD that there are 3 different style calipers you can have for a 940 volvo. WIthout taking the wheel off and looking, is there anyway someone can tell me exactly what kind of calipers i have and what brakes i need for a 91 940 sedan turbo? Thatd be awesome.

As far as the other upgrdes, im doing a new air intake with a idea of a side vent, also doing a straight through exhaust, no cat and one muffler, and then turbo gauge and mbc.

Default What kind of brakes?

I don't know about 940"s, but 240's have a separate data sticker in the rear of the car under the flooring that has a number code for the brakes, steering gear, and something else that were installed at the factory. It may also be in the options codes on the vehicle dataplate under the hood. I would call the helpful folks at IPD when you are are ready to order the parts, and I'll bet they can tell you how to find out what you need to know to get the proper parts( assuming that someone sometime didn't swap your system out).

or just take the wheel off and look, it is the quickest and easiest way to find out. It takes all of 5 mins.
