Broken timing belt 240 redblock
thank you everyone in advance,
First, after manualy turning camshaft sprocket to Top Dead Center (TDC), intermediate and crankshafts sprokets to their marks, will I still have to make sure that the #1 piston is top TDC too or is that already taken care of?
Second, since I broke my timing belt will I have to have her timed once I get her sarted again?

To make certain it is at TDC, I pull the d cap and #1 plug. When the d rotor is pointing at #1 check w/ a screwdriver to make certain the piston is up. The intermediate shaft seems to be the one most folks screw up, for what ever reasons. After reassembly, if it is 89 or newer it should be timed. If 88 or older, you may want to check the timing. If it's older than 76...you won't need a belt.
