Cabin air recirculate function

Hi Fred...don't tell me it's getting warmish in Georgia? I've had this happen on a couple of cars...although never on one that new. My 140 did it, so did my 245. I think it is caused by dirt build up and/or wear on the plastic catches. I fixed the 140 (same controller) by squirting WD-40 through the space between the button and the face plate. Did not work for long though on my 240. Ended up swapping in another one...pretty simple. Just be sure to label all the vac hoses!

Jon, I think you guys in the Lone Star State got the monopoly on hot. Hot cars, hot women, and hot weather.
Thanks for the 411, I was kinda thinking along those lines of a case of GRCI (Georgia red clay infiltration). So, some contact cleaner might work. The mighty AC that Volvo provided just won't hold its own vs the Georgia heat without the recirculation function.
