We have pulled the entire dash apart and can not find the relay for the headlights on our 1992 240, which is a stick shift. We were told it might be black or white plastic, rather than metal, as is the case with our 1987 240. We were also told that it might be located near the air conditioning vents in the center, but again, no luck. It is not located where one might expect, with all the other relays near the foot pedals. It is not in the engine compartment. It is a stick shift car, perhaps that makes a difference. If anyone out there can help, please contact. We are without headlights!

 

According to Bentley Page 390-3 , the headlight relay is right behind the little tray at center next to the a/c vent. It could be silver or black with four connectors, I will look again by following the headlight switch wiring. Andrew
