Default Car will not start after sitting for 3 weeks

Hello. I have a 1989 manual 240 wagon. I was away for 3 weeks on a job and the car was not driven or started during this time. Now, the car will not start. It wants to turn over strong, but will not. I know the car is in good running condition and this is why I am confused. I live in Orlando, FL where cold weather isn't a problem. What do I do? All of my lights, signals, and everything associated with the battery work fine. I tried jumping it, no luck. The car has gas. Any helpful tips would be greatly appreciated.

Good Day,
Todd

I would start by holding a plug wire close to something metal .. and see if you have spark.

yeah he says his battery works fine... try your starter, that could be the reason. have you had problems with the car starting all the time then one day it would not start. would start 99 times out of a 100, then on the 100th time it did not start type of thing?

If it's a B230 engine, go to www.stepbystepvolvo.com for free no-start guide to 740. Could be similar enough to your car to be of benefit.
