Cruise control?

Wondering if it is possible to put cruise control in an 88 240 dl.

Assuming it is possible, how difficult would it be?

Well it is certainly possible, since most models have it, although out of the 4 I have had (86, 87, 88, 89 DL) none of them had working cruise control.

Did those come with a factory CC? Mine must have not come with cruise.

Definitely factory. There is a sticker on the hood that says "Volvo Cruise control".

Has anyone added cruise to their 240

I have a 1989 240 wagon that did not have cruise. Has anyone started with a junk yard car and converted their car over?? I am interested,,

The 240's have 2 major trim models, the DL and the GL. Most GL's have the bells and whistles.

I know all 940's and late 740's are prewired, and I have added CCs successfully to a couple of my cars. You can them from the junkyards. There are a few pieces to get...
