Double headlights in 90 240?

I'm pretty sure the hood and grill changed with the new style lights. later model US 240's actually have the 260 hood, I believe, its higher and a bit longer in the center. 260's weren't actually sold in the US after some time in the rather early 80s.
what I'd want instead, would be the EURO stock lights for that vintage. these are a slightly smaller single rectangular light, with a GLASS face plate that doesn't yellow and dull, and a much better e-code light pattern.
