firing order

Default firing order

Can someone go out and check the firing order on their 740 turbo... mine is an 87.... It just doesn't seem to be catching... though I puffed a bunch of smoke out the back LOL!!!!

please put it like this if you can

standing right at the front of the car (and yes I know that is not the order HAHA! Just for illistration)

Nice picture but it is numbered backwords.
It should be on the cap from left to right 4-3-1-2
Number 1 cylinder is the front of the motor.

I was justgoing off of pphilps little model.
I can fix the photo to show it correctly...if you want.

Its ok I just wanted to make sure so there was no confusion for other people.

I just didn't want someone later on to say cylinder 1 and be meaning cylinder 4 see what I mean?
