The fuel pressure regulator on my 1992 volvo 940 gl kept spurting gas and I couldn't figure out why. At first I chalked it up as a faulty part, but I replaced it and it continued to do so. Well turns out the bracket that held it onto the fuel rail was slightly warped so I had to take some heavy duty pliers and pull the top of it up a half inch and it solved the problem.
