I need to replace my front brakes, rotors and pads. Is there anything I should look out for? The system seems pretty straightforward. I plan to repack wheelbearings at the same time.

Pretty straight foward. The Bearing should not be servicable on your car.
The hub stays on the spindle and the rotor comes off.
