Default Glovebox latch

Hello everyone. I recently purchased a '92 240 and started restoring the interior. After taking the glovebox out to fix a problem with one of the rails I noticed that whoever owned it before me had replaced the latch striker with some random piece of hardware and attached it with a couple of wood screws. I want to put a proper one in but I can't seem to find a photo of what it looks like or what part number if might actually be. Can anyone snap a photo of theirs and, if you happen to know it, give me the part number? That might make it a little easier tracking one down.

Thanks

I believe its volvo pn 3540574 ("Plate") with a pair of 350642 ("Spacer"). Vadis says this is for chassis numbers 448833- (4dr) or 902600- (5dr)

no idea if these are still available.

its part 43b in this drawing

Awesome! Thanks for the info. Now to just find a place that has one.

Out of curiosity, what are parts 40 and 32 in that diagram?

unfortunately part 43b is not the striker. the 'striker' is an integral part of the large glove box ie: plastic. the tab on part 41 clips up into it. not sure what part 43b does.. it is riveted to the glove box. maybe a stopper for the end of part 41? the plastic on the glove box on mine busted today. fixed with gorilla glue so unknown how long that will last.
if you take out the glove box it will be clear how the latch operates.
