Default Help?

My mom just told me that in exactly 1 year she will get me a new car(i will choose it of course) But, i dont know if i should spend like 400 dollars to replace all the parts that needs to be replaced on the car.

1-Front springs
2-Front Strut Mounts(with bearings)
3-That damn "varilla" and the clips...transmission clunking sound
4-A/C belt

All of those parts, except the "varilla" would cost me like $220 dollars, and to get them installed another $140 or so...So, should i fix the car since im going to be driving it for another year or i shouldnt?

Yes, im planning on selling it once i get the new one, but im very hesitant about selling this car, i mean i love this car and i dont wanna sell it, but i cant refuse a 2003 Lexus es300!! and i cant keep the volvo 940 because we live in a building, and we only have 3 parking spaces, if we want another one, we need to rent one for $75 dollars a month...

I think its the part you check the transmission fluid level with (and coresponding gasket for teh cap it's connected to).....but I don't think thats what your mechanic is refering to.
