help on 91 volvo 740

i just brought a 91 volvo 740 how do you pull codes for service in light and what is the switch on dash that looks like a y with line coming out the top mean or whats it for

Service light comes on every 5,000 miles and needs to be reset-the button under the rubber plug on the instrument panel; no fault is indicated. The button is the power antenna switch.
