Hey People...............I have the option to buy either a 1992 960 Volvo Sedan that is white with all options and black leather interior or a 1993 240 wagon. The 960 is nice but has a broken timing belt and all I know is it doesn't run so not sure i the pistons made contact with the valves or not but its on $550. The 240 is excellent on the outside with no rust and the paint shines but the interior needs some help. It is $1200 but it is a five speed which I love! Help!!!!!!!!!1

 

I'd buy the 240, not even a question about it! The 960 is niceBUT the motor is probably shot-too much to hope for that valves are not damaged...

 

Go with the 240, it's a safe bet.

 

As soon as you noted the 240 was a 5 speed I knew that was the one I would recommend. Mine is a 5 speed and I LOVE IT!!

 

hi, the240 is the one to buy.its a loteasier to sort out a worn interior than it is to deal with a head ache engine.
