How do you install a new thermostat?

Can someone explain to me how to install a new thermostat on a 1990 240 DL? Mine is fried and I keep getting boil over. If anyone has a diagram that would be helpful. I only know basic matinence. Thanks

It is very easy.
Follow the upper radiator hose to the engine. Remove the 2 10MM screws and remove the housing. Remove old thermostat and install new one. You will see a little vent in the thermostat make sure that is facing up.
