How I repaired my dash courtesy lights
Hey drivers,
I just got around to repairing (and replacing) the dash courtesy lights in my 740. If you have ever bought a bulb at Volvo, you'll appreciate how easy this is.
I bought replacement wedge base and open lead bulbs from 1000bulbs.com and paid about $6 (not inc. SH) for 20 bulbs.
I posted an instructable here if you are interested.
Finish the job by soldering the leads and snipping off the excess. They work perfectly for a fraction of the cost.
I hope this is helpful, just trying to give a little back.
