how to remove fan clutch off 1979 262c

Hello again everyone, i need some help figuring out the best way to remove the fan clutch on a 1979 volvo 262c. I have tried using a rubber strap wrench and that ended up braking on me.... anyone know how to remove the fan clutch...???
