hi all,
have an 88 volvo 240 i'm trying to replace my broken (surprise) center console and there are power mirror controls in them. how do you remove the switches from them? from pics of the switch without the console it looks like they twist on but i've been twisting pretty hard and they don't budge. wondering if i'm doing the right thing before i apply more force, wouldn't want to break them.

well for reference i was able to get it off, the front nuts were kind of rusted and couldn't get a good grip or apply near enough force that was required to get it off. one thing that came in handy were the two grooves on the front nut and i had to get two flathead screwdrivers, sit the control with the console on my lap and work with both hands to get it off
