Is there anyway to fit a hydraulic throwout bearing on my 82 245? My cable feels pretty stiff. I don't know if it needs to be replaced but i would really prefer a hydraulic unit.

 

Stiff cable probably means cable is going bad. Hydraulic units have there own problems, and are not really superior. Why not just replace the cable? I'm not sure if the cable release arm is different or not.
