I need advice buying an old Volvo
I'm looking into buying this car. It's a 1992 740 turbo. It has 263,000 miles. Newer timing belt, runs smooth, well cared for car. I drove and worked on a 93 850glt for years but I know little about the 740. Anything I should look out for or be aware of before buying it? Is this car worth 1900$ or should I offer less?
Any advice would be appreciated thanks.

Body looks real clean. I usually offer less for cars that need work. Not sure what the book value is, check www.nadaguides.com. IMO, any car that is clean and does not need work is worth $1,500 to $2,000. Transportation cost averages about $400 per month. If you pay $2,000 for a car, expect it to last 5 months without any work. After that keep it up.
That seems steep to me... I have 95 940 that is garaged and mint. Absolutely NO issues and all new suspension (complete) along with newly sealed motor and all the other things. There is not one apology for this car and I am asking 3,500 and it's hard to get a good look. It has 150k miles, but you wouldn't know it. So, with 250k plus other stuff... i'm thinking 12-15 hundred.
Our turbos have E code lights, eggcrate grill and Hydras. You couldn't buy a base model car here with the turbo.
