Default Idle control valve 240SE

Hi all,

I am currently having problem with 240 Volvo, whenever I switch on the Aircond the RPM drops from 850 to 700..I have checked the all the hose to the idle control valve - all ok and I have changed my idle vacuum valve - back to normal but after 3 months it started back. Mechanic advise me to change the idle vacuum valve so I cannot keep changing the valve so I would like to know is there any replacement unit for idle control valve or can I convert to 740 solenoid type. Need help pls send me if there is a diagram that I can refer too.

Thanks

I don't have any pics. But the switch on the throttle body needs to be adjusted a specific way or it can affect the idle motor circuit.
With your hand roll the throttle wheel with the car off. Listen for a click as soon as you move the wheel the slightest bit.

Try that and let me know.
