I have a 85 volvo 245 non turbo with fuel injection. and it was never running right but while trying to fix it I unplugged the fuel pump relay to crank without starting. and while plugging it back in I foolishly had the ignition on and plugged the relay back in, and the relay clicked rapidly. since then I have not been able to get the car to start. no fuel no spark. so I did some digging.
regarding the fuel issue, both pumps work and i can jump them in the fuse box. then I jumped the pumps in the fuel relay plug using pins 30 and 87/2 and if the pumps do turn on. I replaced my ECU and my relay and still nothing.
now the spark issue, coil has been tested and it works good. new wires, plugs, cap, and rotor. the power goes to the coil then once it hits the distributor it seems to stop there. everything seems to be grounded right and its a really simple system I just don't know why it wont work
if anybody can point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.
oh also the problem with the car before all of this was it started fine but it would idle rough spit black like soot out the back and stall under any load. plz help i want to drive this car so bad

To make things clearer to me please try the following:
Turn the engine until the rotor is pointing to one of the cap terminals.
Pull the corresponding cable off the spark plug and place it near a ground.
Connect a ground wire so the end is near the low side of the coil.
Turn the ignition on and momentarily touch the low side of the coil with the ground wire. (This is exactly what the ignition module does.) You should see a spark at the end of the plug cable.
If this works, then its possible, when cranking, the rotor is not not lining up with a cap terminal at the the time of the spark.
