1999 240DL Wagon... Turn signals intermittently slow and then stop working. They will come back on though. When one doesn't work neither will. Seems like if sitting at a light w them blinking they are more likely to fade away, but if used briefly they work longer.

Any ideas?

 

Try the turn signal relay, behind the lower left center console panel (right side of driver's footwell).
