hm, there's an antisway kit? Does it fit the 240? That car's body roll and wobble at anything over 80kms/h was the first thing i noticed.
Used to drive a 91 Chevy Cavy, which, in terms of quality, had a drive train like pop cans and plastic. However, it was steady as **** (and far more powerful) so the brick was a bit of a challenge to get used to.

yes it does for 240 anti-sway bars sport springs chassis braces ect......you can check it out on www.ipdusa.com the volvo specialists since 1963
Yeah, I did know there were performance parts out there but I guess I never really thought about the more practical performance parts like stiffening the handling. I mean, after all, I am driving the wagon and that thing struggles to get up hills so I never gave much thought to performance parts.
Does the sway kit make $400 (plus international shipping) of difference in the handling?

Hmmm....Well, that's a personal decision I guess. I have them on my 245, my 740 and my 140 so I'm a big believer. The bars have nearly doubled in price in the last 5 years. Since they don't wear out they can be purchased second hand for much less. Roughly $200. As for sport springs, I much prefer the F & G progressive springs sold by fcpgroton.com over the non-progressive springs sold by IPD and Skandix. Much firmer. Again, that's a personal decision.
