Location of fuel pump relay in 1984 240DL
Hey everyone, I have a 1984 240DL that has suddenly stopped working after a routine oil/oil filter change. The battery is fine, spark is fine, and air intake is fine. This leads me to assume that it's the fuel system. On this model, there are two fuel pumps, one on the top of the tank and one inline. I can get the inline pump going with a 9V battery, but unable do the same with the tank pump. In troubleshooting, I have disconnected the main fuel in the tank pump and tried to start the car. I don't see any fuel getting pumped out of this pump. This would lead me to believe that it's either the tank pump or the fuel pump relay. Now, I'd like to try to swap out a new relay but am unsure which relay under the dashboard is the pump relay. I see two under the driver's side, four behind the radio, and two near the ride foot of the passenger. I'd really appreciate some guidance on which is the appropriate relay. And very open to any other suspicions or obvious suggestions in my troubleshooting. I'm relatively new to Volvos. Thanks!

http://www.davebarton.com/pdf/relay_84_240_dash.pdf <= relays for a 1984. its the 216, 217 relays... later LH cars had a single larger relay but these early ones used two seperate relays for this.
