looking for trailer hitch for 1992 745

Draw Tite makes them, they bolt right up, they are class II hitches, with the smaller reciever, as the car can only tow 3500 lbs safely (2" recievers are class III-IV). they tow 2000-ish lb trailers rather nicely, at least if your suspension and drive train are all in good condition. obviously, the horses will be lacking for big hill climbs. disable overdrive, and keep it in 3rd... use 2nd on steep grades, etc.
remember also to derate your cargo capacity by your trailers tongue weight. figure a 7/9 wagon is good for 1200 lbs of payload, so if you have a 2000 lb trailer, thats 200 lbs on the hitch, so try to limit your payload to 1000 lbs including passengers.
