92 240 with M47. Driving along in 5th gear and suddenly engine revs high, no 5th gear, a little rattly. All other gears are fine. I am far from home where my mechanic can replace the M47 when(if?) I get home. Anyone familiar with the inner workings of the M47 know what possibly happened and am I OK to keep driving until home...1000 miles!?
