can anyone tell me where the highside and lowside ac port are on a 245? I'm converting my a/c from a R-12 to a R-134a but I can't find either port!

 

They are located on the back of the A/C compressor.

 

My 89 240 needed extra long R-134 fittings which were not easy to find. The R-12 fittings were set slightly into the compressor so the charge hoses couldnt hook in with conventional retrofit fittings. If you run into this problem I highly reccomend purchasing the fittings from an AC shop.
