Post Manual Swap

I have a 90 240 wagon with an auto trans. I've been wanting to swap it ever since i got it, and i finally found a good candidate. It's 5 speed manual from an 89 that comes with flywheel ,trans mount, drive shaft, and pedals, for around 400$. The seller says its been tested and is all good, i was wondering if it was worth to buy? Would i have to swap my ecu or buy new sensors for it? How difficult could it be?

you will want the clutch pedal, cable etc maybe brake pedal.
/90 will use crankshaft position sensor and you need the flex plate for it to read. the thing with the holes in it.
id get ahold of both parts manuals and closely examine what's involved..
shifter boot you need the right plastic bits if it isnt going to look like a hack job.
i think the ECU will work. at least i have used a ECU from a manual in an automatic but turbos are different and there may be differences.
overdrive wiring..
rear axle gearing ?
cam?
axle shaft and support bearing might have differences. if you do have to change that then you need it to be in balance.
i had a 89 manual wagon. my brother saved it and gave me back the injection system and the ECU after he upgraded to an SU
the ECU works in my 740's as well..but they did have a number of different ECU's so im not absolutely certain but id certainly say probably.

probably lots more to think about..but that's all I know
