Need Help with 1989 Volvo 740 Turbo
Hey, fellas
I've been browsing online for a primary fuel pump for my '89 740 turbo, but I cant find one that says it's compatible with my car. I just want to make sure I get the right part before I buy it, but that tends to be hard when I can't even find a part for my car. It will no joke list the 740, but not 740 turbo. Which makes me nervous because I'll see options for 240s and 240 turbos...
Any help is appreciated!
Thanks,
Noah Moraes

Are ebay pumps worth looking at? They're quite a bit cheaper.
The biggest issue Ive had with online fuel pumps are the owners who list too many cars. Brought 2 or 3 pumps for a Horizon before giving up.

an 89 740 *turbo* was still LH2.2, the 89 non-turbos had switched to LH 2.4, but I'm fairly sure the 2.2 and 2.4 T's used the same fuel pumps (2.2 non-turbo used lower rail pressure)
the fuel pumps for a turbo are higher flow than the ones for a non-turbo
I would think the pumps for a 940 Turbo would work, but I've never done that swap so I can't say for sure. ok, htat FCP page says they are the same, and those guys are reliable (as is IPD, the other link Silvermine posted)
