need switched 12 volt source

Default need switched 12 volt source

I am in need of a switched 12 volt source on my 740. anyone know what i can plug into? It has to be a good solid one i wish i could go off ign switch but i dont know how. Right now i have a stupid fuse and switch near battery that i flip, kinda a pain in my butt.

The cigarette lighter is switched. Use a fuse tap on that fuse.

good idea thank you. anything under the hood? the first time i stuck in the fuse block in the seated seats fuse hole but now the wires outside under the hood and i would need to find a way to get the wire inside the car again. but i guess i will find a way (grabs a drill)

I'm sure there are a few sources in the engine bay. I have not looked into that but a lok around with a test light or meter should find them.
