Good afternoon.
Just picked up an 88 240DL, my 5th volvo.
previous, 144, 740 wagon, 850 turbo wagon, 04 v70 t5 wagon
Just intro'ing today,
got it home went through it, blew out all the cobwebs and mice nest ect. In good shape, no rust but the paint is a bit weathered on top. Blue on blue, very clean car.
Been doing some research, one pickle i seem to be running across, The only way I can get my year to come on most sites is if I put it in as 244, wtf?
anywho, looking forward to doing what ever I will do with it, for now, just tires and suspension.

Not sure, in operable tach, litteraly the lil old ladys car, tach stopped at 169k
interior is in excellent condition, been driving it everywhere, except for the shifter not wanting to move once, no issues.
Paid 1400 for it

yeah that shifter lock can be a pain. lucky you can manually release it...
