Hello all,

I just joined the forums today because i have purchased a 1985 Volvo 240 Wagon
i got the car for $300 and it has 250,000 miles on it, the interior is pretty much perfect minus the dirvers seat, which has wear and tear on it.

Basically im 17 and want to make this thing a total beater, so my first question is... can i swap in any manual transmissions from other volvo years?

if so what would need to be done?

i plan to completely gut this interior and eventually cut the roof off and drive this thing into the ground

any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

I am also new.. and am friends with heybuddy1901 and have gone in halfs on this "project"..

as he mentioned above, any help is appreciated. we plan on making this a gnarled rally car so there will be lots of custom fab that we will need help on.

The best thing to do is find a good Donor car to sway everything out of.
