Hey all, I posted in the new members section of this forum, but I see that some people make introductory posts here as well. I own a 1979 242 that I've had for a few months now. It's a great car, that was pretty much rebuilt around the mid 2000s, new interior, rebuilt engine (The Redblock 2.1), brakes, etc.

I was thinking of replacing the 3 speed automatic with a 4 speed automatic off of a newer 240, any known issues with that? or will they bolt up reasonably because they have the same engines?

Lastly I believe my car has the K-jet fuel injector system, is there anything I should know about that? I already ran into some trouble with it when I was cleaning off some throttle parts, I got it running again but it was very frustrating.

Anyway just thought I'd say hi to everyone, Here's a picture of my car a few months ago when I was working at summer camp.
