Default no power, good battery

Hi all

As soon as I started the car, andputit inand drive my '93 940 power died. The battery is only a month old and i wasn't losing any power before that. I checked the cables everything is fine. I tried boosting and as soon as you take the jumper cables off the car shuts off and zero power. After the battery where does the power go and convert?

I JUST had the same problem on my 1993 940. I had a bad alternator. Good news itis very easily installed yourself. Bad news a good unit will cost $300-$400 depending on your source. My advise is purchase the unit from a local shop and not a parts store (Autozone, etc) as they sometimes do not actually push the 100 amps needed on our cars. Hope this helps and good luck
