here's the deal. my car was acting funny for about 2 weeks. it would stall at stops, right turns, and accelaration. other times it would work perfectly and sometimes it seemed bogged down. when she stalled she would start right up again no problem. finally she gives and she wont start at all. i checked for fuel and the pumps work and there's fuel coming out of the return line on the fuel pump regulator. i checked for spark at the spark plugs and got nothing. i checked for spark at the distributor and got nothing. i checked for spark at the coil and nothing. distributor is getting electricity and so is the coil. i've changed the ignition control module and the coil but still nothing. im starting to think it might be my ecu because i know that it controls the iginition as well as the fuel. im lost and im tired of biking and taking the train to work which equals having no time to fix my car. please help...

 

year and modelof car? Have you pulled the codes yet.

 

i've got an 86 240 stationwagon. my model doesnt have codes. i wish it did and then i would have a better idea of what i might need to be doin.

 

Check the 25-amp fuse and fuse holder under the hood, left fender. Then check the Hall switch in the distributor.
