Default No start No Spark.

Hi guys, it's been a long time since I felt the need to ask for some help here. I have a 85 244 gl non-turbo with the Chrysler style ignition system. I recently changed the cap, rotor, plugs, and wires and she ran great.

After a month or so of being parked in the winter, it won't start. I am not getting any spark. I ran through the ignition troubleshooting in the Bentley manual and was not getting voltage to the Hall sender or at the corresponding terminal on the ICU. Leading me to believe the ICU was bad.

After replacing it with a new(rebuilt) one from Programa, I still have no spark. I ran through the trouble shooting again and I am getting up to the Hall sender test. When I jumper the connector with ignition on I do not get spark but I do have power to terminal A. Is this a case of getting a bad ICU?

Thank you in advance. I sure appreciate the help pointing me in the right direction.

that 9(?) pin Connector on those chrysler ignition modules is quite fragile and a common source of problems. also, 1985 is in the 'biodegradable/ecojunk' wiring harness period (82-mid 87) when the engine wiring was subject to failing insulation inside the black sheath/tubes, this can cause all kinda grief.
