o2 sensor 740 GLE location?

o2 sensor 740 GLE location?

Hi,
I have generally found the oxygen sensor near the cat converter, but have not located it on my 1990 740 Gle Turbo. I'm under the impression its is on the intake. Any experience with the removal and install would be helpfull with the exact location.

It has to be in the exaust somewhere. It will never be in the intake.

On my 90 740 its on top of the pipe just fwd of the cat, on some you might have to remove the wheel ,crawl under and look up to see it. Think....near the oil filter, on the underside.

Depending on the cars history....some have none because someonerigged upa custom pipe with noO2socket , drilling a hole and welding a nut on is required in that case.
