oil near air mass flow senser

Default oil near air mass flow senser
i have an 1988 740 gl station wagon, i get oil down by the air filter. some times the car will not start after i shut it off from running it. i was told it could be the PVC valve, what do you think?

Sounds like thats whats wrong to me as well.
Check the flame trap and all hoses.

the car has over 300,000 miles but it still sounds great when it runs. where is the flame trap? i have a hynes but the book does not have it in there.
